When registering a credit card with an online retailer, a small authorization charge (e.g. 1~11 yen) may be processed in order to verify that the credit card is actually valid.
If the charge is not for the purchase of an actual product, please rest assured that you will not be invoiced for this amount. Up to 60 days later, or upon receiving a notification about "cancelled data", the available credit displayed on your account will be corrected.
